NASCAR at Miami odds, predictions: Surprising 2020 Dixie Vodka 400 picks by advanced model that nailed Daytona

The NASCAR schedule makes its lone stop at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday as the 2020 Dixie Vodka 400 gets underway at 3:30 p.m. ET. Even though he has only one career NASCAR at Homestead win (2014), Kevin Harvick has an extremely strong overall track record at this 1.5-mile oval. He is currently tied with Jeff Gordon for the most all-time top-10 finishes (12) and leads all active drivers with an average finish position of 6.42 at Miami.

Harvick is the 9-2 favorite in the latest 2020 Dixie Vodka 400 odds from William Hill. Martin Truex Jr., who won at Martinsville on Wednesday, and Kyle Busch, who won last year at Miami, are right behind Harvick at 5-1 NASCAR at Miami odds. Chase Elliott (13-2) and Brad Keselowski (17-2) are the only other 2020 NASCAR at Miami contenders drawing single-digit odds. Before locking in any 2020 Dixie Vodka 400 picks, be sure to see the 2020 NASCAR at Miami predictions and projected leaderboard from the proven model at SportsLine.

Developed by daily Fantasy pro and SportsLine predictive data engineer Mike McClure, this proprietary NASCAR prediction model simulates every race 10,000 times, taking into account factors such as track history and recent results.

The model began the 2020 NASCAR season by picking Denny Hamlin to win his second consecutive Daytona 500 at 10-1. It got off to a hot start on its NASCAR picks following the coronavirus hiatus as well, calling seven of the top 10 drivers at The Real Heroes 400 and the Toyota 500 at Darlington. Using the model, McClure also recommended an outright play on winner Brad Keselowski at 13-1 as one of his best bets at Bristol. The model also called Kevin Harvick’s win at Atlanta and nailed a whopping nine top-10 finishers in that race. Anybody who has followed it has seen huge returns.

Now, the model simulated NASCAR at Homestead-Miami 2020 on Sunday 10,000 times. Head here to see the complete projected leaderboard.

Top 2020 Dixie Vodka 400 predictions

For the 2020 Dixie Vodka 400 on Sunday, the model is high on Ryan Blaney even though he’s a massive 12-1 long shot in the latest Miami NASCAR odds 2020. He’s a target for anyone looking for a huge payday. Blaney is still looking for his first career top-10 finish at Miami but enters the weekend on a red-hot run this season.

The Team Penske driver has finished fourth or better in four of his last five races, with the only exception during that span caused by a wreck at Bristol. He finished third at both Charlotte races and fourth at Atlanta, which are 1.5-mile tracks like Miami. Those results bode extremely well for his chances on Sunday, making him one of the 2020 Dixie Vodka 400 drivers you should be all over in your 2020 NASCAR at Miami bets.

And a massive shocker: Chase Elliott, one of the top Vegas favorites at 13-2, stumbles big-time and barely cracks the top five. There are far better values in a loaded NASCAR at Miami starting grid. Elliott has just four career starts at Miami, and he’s finished outside the top 10 in two of them.

His best performance at Miami was fifth place in 2017, but he’s regressed since that point, finishing seventh in 2018 and 15th last year. And while he finished first and second in the Charlotte races in May, his average finish position in the last three events is just 11.7. Elliott is one of the 2020 Dixie Vodka 400 favorites to avoid on Sunday.

How to make 2020 Dixie Vodka 400 picks

The model is also targeting two other drivers with NASCAR at Miami odds of 12-1 or longer to make a serious run at the checkered flag, including one massive long shot higher than 45-1. Anyone who backs these drivers could hit it big. You can only see them here.
