Addison Brewer

School: Abilene High

Sports: Tennis

Favorite food: Pasta

Favorite movie: The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Favorite musician: H.E.R.

Favorite academic subject: English

Best sports moment: When Brady Moore and I ran into each other when we played mixed doubles.

How I feel about the coronavirus ending my senior year: I feel very sad and angry about the virus ending my senior year.

What school activity (prom, graduation, senior trip) and/or athletic moment did you miss the most because of the coronavirus?

I missed so many activities, but the one that I will miss most is the end of the year choir concert and state for choir.

What’s next for you?

I plan to attend Hardin-Simmons.

I was first-team all-district in doubles.

Abilene High tennis coach Stacy Bryan says: “When Addison was in middle school, she had a lot of girls ahead of her. She worked so hard to be in the lineup in a girls team that is one of the best in the state. That is such a testament to her. She has also done an excellent job juggling both choir and tennis. In addition to playing tennis, she can sing like an angel.”
